How do I get a price quotation?The best way to contact us is by phone at 509-334-5815. Our Laboratory Director is always happy to guide you through the process of determining the type of testing necessary and submitting your sample for testing. If you prefer, you can email us at services@vmrd.com. Please indicate the type of material that needs testing and the testing required. If we are able to perform the testing, a quotation detailing price, turnaround time and sample requirements will be sent to your attention.

How do I pay for testing?Standard terms are Net 30 and all payments must be in USD. VMRD accepts payment via check, credit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express) or wire transfer. A credit application will be sent to all new clients. We are happy to accept credit card payments until credit is established. Custom studies require 25% prepayment. I need to obtain a copy of an old report.VMRD can provide copies of archived report(s) when requested by the original client. Give us a call at 509-334-5815 or email us at services@vmrd.com. Reports are archived by PDF and are usually available within minutes of receiving a request.

What type of a report is issued after testing is completed?The final signed report on company letterhead will detail client information, client contact person, sample description and identification, accession date, accession number, assay start and completion dates, test(s) performed, results of the test(s), control numbers and a QA statement.

Can I obtain a copy of the test worksheets and methods?Test worksheets may be reviewed during an onsite audit. For an additional fee, test worksheets are available with your final report. As with final reports, worksheets specific to each sample are archived by PDF and can usually be provided within minutes of a request.

How are reports issued?Final reports are sent by PDF to the email of the primary contact listed on the submission form, unless otherwise requested. Reports are generally emailed 4-6 business days after testing has been completed. Delivery by US Mail or FedEx is also available for an additional charge. If you require special delivery, please note this on your submission form. Final reports can also be accessed via our Customer Portal. Reports are uploaded to the portal immediately after they have been approved and signed by the Study Director and QA and can be accessed 24/7. If you would like to sign up for the portal, please let us know by sending us an email to services@vmrd.com. A Customer Experience Representative will assist you in account creation.

Who may I speak with to discuss the results on the report?Please call VMRD at 509-334-5815 and reference the accession number or your sample lot number. Each report has a unique accession number clearly marked on the report in bold type. We are always glad to answer any questions you may have about your test results.

How do I submit samples to VMRD for Biologics Testing Services?Samples should be shipped to VMRD Biologics Testing Services to the attention of the "Laboratory Director." All samples must have a sample submission form indicating the tests requested. Sample submissions can also be submitted via our Customer Portal. If you would like to sign up for the portal, please let us know by sending us an email to services@vmrd.com. A Customer Experience Center Representative will assist you in account creation. How do I obtain a valid transit permit?USDA regulations may require a valid import permit to ship biological samples. Please contact our Quality Department at 509-334-5815.

What do I do if I want to return a product?Call for authorization prior to returning any item. Returns are subject to a 25% restock fee. Custom orders may not be returned.

How do I place an order?You can use the new cart function to build your order and submit it through the website, call us at 509-334-5815 or email order@vmrd.com. When placing an order via phone or email, please supply the appropriate customer identification number, catalog number(s) and quantity of the items needed, and a brief description of each product. When will my order ship?Most items ship within one business day from the date the order was received, except where special certificates are required. Shipping fees are prepaid and added to the final invoice, unless the recipient provides courier account information. Information about shipping on and near holidays can be found here.

Do you provide serology diagnostic testing services?Because there are so many great diagnostic labs available, VMRD does not provide diagnostic testing services. However, we do provide complimentary reference testing for our FA and ELISA products. Please see our Serology Reference Testing page for more details.
