VMRD works hard to ensure your orders are packaged accurately and shipped in a timely manner. Over the years VMRD has grown its sophistication with developed processes to mitigate the potential of delayed packages and/or ruined product deliveries during holiday closures. We would like to share with you this information to help ensure we maintain a strong partnership with each of you and to continue to provide high-quality service and products for your needs.
Friday Holidays:
International orders will NOT be shipped after Wednesday of the holiday week.
Good Friday - Friday, March 29th, 2024
Monday Holidays:
International orders will NOT be shipped after Thursday of the week prior to the holiday week.
Memorial Day - Monday, May 27th, 2024
Independence Day - Thursday, July 4th, 2024
Labor Day - Monday, September 2nd, 2024
Christmas - Wednesday, December 25th, 2024
New Year's Day - Wednesday, January 1st, 2025

No shipments the day prior if it occurs on a weekday
The last Thursday & Friday in November
International orders received on Wednesday of the Thanksgiving Holiday week will not be processed and shipped until Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday. Domestic customers with orders on Wednesday of the Thanksgiving Holiday will be cautioned on requesting to ship their order on Wednesday.
Thanksgiving Holiday
Always occurs on December 25th
VMRD will experience a closure on December 25th unless it falls on a weekend, then we will be closed the Friday prior or Monday after. Please refer to the above-stated closures to gain better clarity on whether VMRD will be closed on a Friday or Monday to celebrate Christmas for the given year. If there is no Monday or Friday closure for Christmas, VMRD will be closed only on December 25th.
Christmas Holiday
Always occurs on January 1st
VMRD will experience a closure on January 1st unless it falls on a weekend, then they will be closed the Friday prior or Monday after. Please refer to the above-stated closures to gain better clarity on whether VMRD will be closed on a Friday or Monday to celebrate New Year’s for the given year. If there is no Monday or Friday closure for New Year’s, VMRD will be closed only on January 1st.
