DESCRIPTION
Molecular Transport Media (MTM) is a clear, colorless liquid composed of a proprietary blend of reagents for collection, transport, and storage of infectious samples for molecular applications.
- Effectively disrupts lipid membranes
- Complete inactivation of nucleases and proteases
- Preserves and stabilizes both DNA and RNA
- Eliminates need for cold-storage and cold-transport since stable at room temperature up to 30 days
- Compatible with spin columns and molecular bead extraction kits
