The SAA and IgG tests are incredibly simple and straightforward to process and use.  I think having batch specific calibration cards gives me more confidence in the accuracy of the results.  The battery life and compact aspect of the reader makes it very use to take in the field.

I use VMRD SAA and IgG for easy on the farm testing that I can trust. I've used these tests since 2020 across two practices and been happy with the results. They are simple enough for staff to run as well!

I recently had a transfer from a large referral center to my rural clinic for a two-year-old FS DSH with a 9 day history of lethargy, inappetence, and pyrexia. The owner spent $2000+ on diagnostics, but no cause of illness could be identified. I ran a SAA upon arrival, and it was elevated. I discontinued the patients steroids and started IV antibiotics and within 24 hours, the patient was eating. Within three days, her symptoms had resolved. Although I would have loved to know why the cat was sick, we don’t always have that luxury in veterinary medicine. Ultimately, having SAA got this pet to recovery faster and could have even saved her life. 

Angilene Gonzales, LVT and I, Shauna Knapp-Boutros, LVT have been with Waller Equine Hospital for 20 years. With a support staff of over 25, when adding a new diagnostic test or equipment we worry about ease of use, potential for user error, and durability. I found the sampling to be simple and straightforward, the kit was easy to use. I think the calibration card is a great advantage and it's great that it saves the last result.

So easy, even the Dr. can run it. It's been super easy to use, and I've actually used it on a lot more cases than I thought I would.

To me, it seems stupid simple since it's so portable to carry on the truck and I just pull sample and use. I appreciate it saves the last result.

I love them! It's very user-friendly and easy; easier than other SAA kits. I love the size.
